Sloup #19 Firecracker Press

Hey Hey Sloupers - Sloup #19 will be hosted this month by Firecracker Press 2838 Cherokee Street
Saint Louis, MO 63118. Our (two!) soups will be provided by Carniceria Latino Americana.

Regular Sloup time this month 6-8 pm - we're bringing the cornbread - you're bringing your wonderful selves and friends - and friends of friends of course.

$10 will get you soup and a vote.

Sloup is a monthly soup dinner in St. Louis that supports projects, primarily artistic or communicative, that need a little funding and belief. Soup dinners will be on one Sunday a month from 6-8 p.m. Soups will be provided by local establishments, chefs and community members, as well as grant recipients returning to share their projects. We’re asking for a $10 per person donation at each dinner (100% of which will go directly into that month’s Sloup Fund), entitling you to vote on that month’s proposal which excites you the most! Grant proposals will be accepted until the Saturday before the soup (see application below).

Submit the above information one page or less (including any images) as a PDF file to sloup2122@gmail.com by the FRIDAY before this month's Sloup. ***SPECIAL JANUARY INSTRUCTIONS: send text in body of email; no images please; deadline extended to saturday before event****Your one-page proposal will be distributed in this month's packet to all Sloup attendees/voters who have the task of choosing their favorites. That's all there is to it! By Monday morning we'll have posted the winning artist.
